Production Assembler CorTech - 3.1 Simi Valley, CA Job Details Contract $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Schematics Machine operation Interpreting technical drawings Shop math Manufacturing standard operating procedures Safety standard operating procedures Hand tools Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a Production Assembler I to perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small components. The ideal candidate has good mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to identify and resolve basic issues while learning new processes. Key Responsibilities Assemble small mechanical and electromechanical components according to established procedures. Follow shop travelers, route cards, schematics, and manufacturing instructions. Position very small components using tweezers, fixtures, and a binocular microscope. Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to components. Bond and seal components using epoxy, heating elements, and ovens. Perform in-process testing and inspections. Operate hand tools and light machinery. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain consistent and punctual attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 12 years of relevant assembly, manufacturing, electronics, or mechanical experience preferred. Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to work with very small parts and detailed components. Ability to use hand tools and light machinery. Basic math skills. Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions, safety procedures, and basic schematics. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability and willingness to learn new processes. High school diploma/GED or equivalent education and experience preferred.
