You will work onsite on a regular second shift schedule (Monday-Friday, 1:30pm-10:00pm) and follow established manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures. This position will also require learning to operate an industrial sewing machine, so candidates must be comfortable and willing to learn this skill. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components according to established instructions and procedures Review shop travelers, route cards, blueprints, and basic schematic drawings to confirm the correct sequence of operations Position small parts and precision components under a binocular microscope using tweezers and positioning fixtures Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base components Bond or seal parts and assemblies with epoxies using direct heating elements or ovens Perform a variety of in-process testing and inspection activities Learn to operate an industrial sewing machine as part of the assembly process Operate hand tools and light machinery while following established safety policies and procedures Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance and work additional hours as needed Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role High school diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience preferred 1-2 years of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, manufacturing instructions, and company procedures Good mechanical aptitude and strong manual dexterity for working with small parts Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and light machinery Basic math skills and ability to perform straightforward problem-solving using established procedures Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Willingness and ability to learn to operate an industrial sewing machine Here's What Else Might Help You Out Aerospace manufacturing experience Sewing or industrial sewing experience Troubleshooting experience Pay Range $22.00 - $22.00/per hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
