Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision, ensuring quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols. Your expertise in mechanical assembly, interpreting technical drawings, and using specialized tools will drive the efficiency and excellence of our production processes. Duties Assemble mechanical components and products according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and production documents. Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment to perform precise assembly tasks. Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately to ensure correct assembly procedures are followed. Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify specifications. Conduct quality checks using shop math and measurement instruments to ensure assemblies meet strict tolerances. Solder electrical connections when required, following safety guidelines and technical specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) use policies and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience with mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with shop math and manufacturing processes. Ability to operate manual handling equipment safely and efficiently. Experience with soldering, machining, or working with pneumatic tools is a plus. Knowledge of production document interpretation and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small parts and complex assemblies. Commitment to safety practices including proper PPE use and adherence to industrial safety protocols.
