A Production Fabricator or Assembler constructs and assembles a wide range of products, such as engines, computers, aircraft, ships, boats, toys, electronic devices, and control panels, as well as the individual parts that make up these products.

Fabrication Technician Benefits:

Follow and abide by all plant safety policies and guidelines Read blueprints, schematics and work orders to understand design requirements, layouts, dimensions and welding requirements. Measure, cut, bend and shape metal components and assemblies according to technical plans. Join parts using welding, soldering, riveting or fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and fit Operate various welding machines (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc) and hand power tools. Inspect finished products for accuracy, functionality and adherence to specifications.
Requirements:
Ability to demonstrate strong proficiency in troubleshooting in shop activities. Ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, and multi-task in both slow-pace & fast-paced environments. Proficiency in multiple welding techniques. Self-starter, requiring little supervision once training is complete, and be self-motivated when not given a specific task. Demonstrate ability and excel at safely operating overhead crane, fork trucks, and other mobile equipment.
