Job Description
Production Assembler Shift - 7:30am to 4:00 PM
JOB SUMMARY
We seek a Production Assembler to become an integral part of our team! In this role, you will be part of the various assembly processes to create electronic safety equipment for the mining industry from start to finish. You will use multiple hand tools to assemble small pieces to create the finished product, which will be boxed up and processed for shipping. You will be successful in this role if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic, work well independently as well as working in a team environment.AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Build product according to work instructions.
- Build Quality product at set production rate.
- Observes all safety rules and regulations, including wearing protective equipment.
- Ability to use multiple hand and power tools, process, measure equipment, and soldering according to assembly documentation.
- Ability to flex to multiple cells to meet the demand needs with minimal work direction.
- Obtain cross-training in various areas to support site needs and goals.
- Collaborate with the team to finish the assembly of a product.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination
- Record quantities of parts and process paperwork
- Follows and maintains accurate process documentation.
- Ensure product meets quality requirements.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ months of assembly experience preferred.
- Able to work some overtime occasionally.
- Previous soldering experience is a plus.
- Able to read and follow work instructions.
