Job Description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description:
The Aerospace Assembler is responsible for assembling structural aircraft components, including subassemblies, in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and aerospace quality standards. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately with hand and power tools in a precision manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties:
Assemble structural components, and subassemblies using engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Install fasteners, bolts, rivets, nut plates, brackets, clips, and other aerospace hardware. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and scales to verify dimensions and fit. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing instructions. Properly align, fit, clamp, and secure components. Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, drills, rivet guns, torque tools, and other assembly equipment. Perform torquing of fasteners according to specified requirements and document completed operations when required. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality requirements and customer specifications. Identify and report defects, dimensional discrepancies, damaged parts, or other nonconforming conditions. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Follow all company, customer, safety, and quality requirements applicable to aerospace manufacturing. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Support continuous improvement and production goals while maintaining product quality. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous aerospace, aircraft structural assembly, sheet metal, mechanical assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions. Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work with small hardware and perform precise, repetitive assembly operations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Aerospace structural assembly experience is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
1-3 years of aerospace structural assembly experience. Experience assembling aircraft structures or components. Experience with riveting, drilling, reaming, countersinking, and fastening. Experience using calibrated torque tools. Familiarity with aerospace materials, fasteners, and structural assembly practices. Experience working to AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards.
