$26.50/hr. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electro/Mechanical Assembler II to perform a variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and measurement-related assembly operations. This role involves building, testing, inspecting, and reworking components, subassemblies, and finished products according to established specifications and procedures. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently on routine and moderately complex assignments while collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and leadership teams. Responsibilities Assemble electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and measurement-related components, assemblies, and subassemblies. Build and test subassemblies and system-level hardware according to specifications. Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, fitting, and other assembly operations as required. Follow established methods, sequences of operation, assembly procedures, and test instructions. Perform in-process testing, quality inspections, rework, and troubleshooting of components and assemblies. Complete required production and device history documentation accurately. Assemble and test reconditioned or refurbished hardware when needed. Perform packaging functions as required. Use basic hand tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, terminal crimpers, and soldering irons. Use mechanical inspection equipment such as calipers and indicators. Use basic electrical test equipment, including multimeters. Follow all operating procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work collaboratively with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and leadership to meet production requirements. Support engineering experiments, process improvements, and operational initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve processes and assist with developing or modifying manufacturing procedures. Recognize production obstacles and work with senior technicians or team leads to determine appropriate solutions. Provide training and support to other team members as needed. Participate in safety initiatives and help identify and reduce workplace risks. Support internal audits and ensure compliance with established manufacturing and quality procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent education and experience. Previous experience in electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or manufacturing assembly. Ability to read and follow written work instructions, assembly procedures, test procedures, and mechanical drawings. Experience with hand soldering, wiring, crimping, and mechanical assembly preferred. Familiarity with calipers, indicators, multimeters, and other basic inspection or testing equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently with limited supervision after training. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and collaborate effectively with team members. Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
