DuHadaway Tool & Die Shop, Inc. is hiring a full-time Turbine Repair Disassembly/Assembly Technician for our Industrial Turbine Component Repair Division in Newark, Delaware . $22.00
•24.00 per hour (based on experience) 2nd
Shift Differential:
Additional 10%
Shifts:
1st: 7:30 a.m.
•4:00 p.m. 2nd: 3:30 p.m.
•12:00 a.m. (10% shift differential)
Schedule:
Full-Time Environment:
Clean, climate-controlled facility with overtime opportunities What you'll tackle Picture this: a turbine component arrives. You'll take it from teardown to ready-for-service: Disassembly & evaluation: Safely disassemble components, identify wear or damage, and communicate findings to supervisors or quality.
Precision cleaning:
Perform ultrasonic cleaning, rinsing, and sandblasting to exact standards. Metrology & documentation: Measure with micrometers, dial calipers, height gages, and thread gages; record results and complete production documents.
Reassembly:
Assemble components after repair, confirming fit, function, and quality.
Team execution:
Partner with production, quality, and engineering to meet schedules while following all safety procedures and using hand, power, and pneumatic tools and overhead cranes. What it takes to thrive 2-3 years of experience preferred in automotive repair, mechanical assembly, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or related mechanical fields. Strong mechanical aptitude; confident tearing down, troubleshooting, inspecting, and reassembling. Experience with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation; strong basic math. Detail-driven communicator who can work independently and within a team. High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license. Physical demands Successfully pass a pre-employment physical, lift assessment, and drug screening. Lift and handle materials and perform physical tasks safely throughout the day. Stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks. Work safely around industrial equipment, overhead cranes, and manufacturing machinery. Rewards and support $22.00
