Job Title:
Operator - Aviation Assembler
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team in Sarasota, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components, following detailed work instructions and blueprints, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and work orders.
Perform quality inspections to verify parts and assemblies meet company standards.
Identify and report defects, non-conformances, or production issues to supervisors.
Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
Support inventory control by tracking parts, components, and materials used during assembly.
Follow lean manufacturing practices and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Collaborate with team members, engineers, quality personnel, and supervisors to meet production schedules.
Package finished products and prepare assemblies for shipment when required.
Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bradenton, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
