Job Description

Job Title:
Production Worker - Sheet Metal / HVAC Assembly Job Description This role focuses on supporting high-volume production and machine operation to manufacture sheet metal components and assemble HVAC units. You will use hand tools and industrial machinery to bolt together products, drill holes in sheet metal, and perform assembly work on a production line while consistently meeting quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Assemble sheet metal components and HVAC units using hand tools and production machinery. Bolt together products and drill holes into sheet metal and steel according to production prints and instructions. Operate production machinery, including roll formers, punch presses, rivet machines, spot welders, Gorelock machines, and pipe rolling equipment. Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to ensure proper dimensions and fit. Inspect parts and finished assemblies to verify they meet quality and safety standards. Transport materials, parts, and finished products to the next stage of production or designated areas. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in accordance with workplace safety and housekeeping standards. Assist other departments and team members as needed to support overall production flow and deadlines. Follow detailed work instructions and production prints to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper use of tools, machinery, and personal protective equipment. Essential Skills 2+ years of production or manufacturing experience in a similar environment. 2+ years of assembly experience, preferably working with sheet metal or mechanical components. 2+ years of mechanical experience within a production setting. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure for measurements and layout. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, bend, and twist as part of daily duties. Ability to regularly lift up to 40-50 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a general production or assembly line environment. Experience in machine operation, including operating various production machines Experience using a variety of hand tools in a manufacturing or mechanical setting. Familiarity with heavy lifting and physically demanding work. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with changing priorities. Willingness to assist across departments to support overall production needs. Why Work Here? Facility Hours:
6am - finish (must be able to work until 4:30pm) M-F Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
