Job Description

  • Job Title: Enclosure Shop Assembler
  • Job Description
  • This role focuses on assembling metal generator enclosures in either the enclosure shop or the finish department. You work hands-on with a variety of hand and power tools to build, assemble, and complete the final touches on metal enclosures according to daily assigned tasks and production standards.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Assemble metal generator enclosures in the enclosure shop using hand tools and power tools.

+ Perform final assembly and finishing work on completed enclosures in the finish department.

+ Read and follow basic instructions, drawings, or blueprints to complete assigned tasks accurately.

+ Use carpentry, fabrication, and general construction techniques to cut, fit, and secure components.

+ Inspect work for quality and completeness, making repairs or adjustments as needed.

+ Support production goals by completing daily tasks efficiently and meeting established timelines.

+ Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of safety glasses and steel-toe footwear.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area in both indoor and outdoor industrial settings.

+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and task completion.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Hands-on experience using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and measuring tools.

+ Experience using power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.

+ Basic carpentry or construction skills, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.

+ Ability to perform fabrication and assembly work in an industrial production environment.

+ Capability to read and follow simple blueprints, drawings, or work instructions.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with metal components and hardware.

+ Attention to detail when performing assembly, finishing, and repair tasks.

+ Commitment to safety practices, including wearing safety glasses and steel-toe footwear.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Experience in construction, carpentry, concrete work, landscaping, or metal working. + Experience in fabrication, assembly, or production environments. + Ability to perform basic repairs and provide support to the production team. + Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor industrial settings. + Flexibility to be assigned to either the finish department or enclosure shop based on skills.

  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $19.

00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
