In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting hardware components to ensure they meet quality standards and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with measuring instruments, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Per Diem Allowance:
$120/day, ($840.00/week maximum), for those living 60+ miles from the job site. One year project. Responsibilities Assemble hardware components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment in accordance with detailed assembly instructions and technical schematics. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and production documents to accurately execute assembly tasks. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math techniques to verify component dimensions and tolerances. Conduct quality inspections during assembly processes to ensure adherence to specifications and identify defects or discrepancies. Handle manual tasks involving lifting, positioning, and organizing parts while maintaining safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) use. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize assembly workflows. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards and manufacturing best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments, preferably within electronics or industrial hardware sectors. Proficiency with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and production documents. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment. Familiarity with soldering techniques and machining processes is a plus. Ability to read shop math accurately for measurements and calculations during assembly. Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory handling and material flow. Commitment to safety practices including proper PPE use and manual handling procedures.
