  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Job Duties & Functions
  • Performs high-mix, low-volume assembly of SMT and through-hole components on complex printed circuit boards (PCBs)
  • Executes removal, replacement, and repair of bottom-terminated components (QFNs, BGAs, LGAs) using hot-air pencils, hot plates, and other rework tools
  • Conducts precise reflow, pre-heat, and cooling cycles to meet component-specific thermal profiles
  • Operates and maintains X-ray inspection equipment to evaluate solder joints on hidden pads and verify rework quality
  • Interprets engineering drawings, work orders, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure correct component placement and orientation
  • Performs in-process quality checks, including visual, AOI, and X-ray, and documents results per quality system requirements
  • Troubleshoots solder-related defects, including tombstoning, voids, and solder bridges, and implements corrective actions
  • Maintains ESD-controlled environments and follows all safety and compliance procedures
  • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, including tooling upgrades and process optimizations
