Job Description
## Standard Job Description Performs a variety of operations to manufacture, assemble and/or refurbish various aircraft parts and structures. Assemblies can require controlled tooling as well as build to print. Tasks include aligning parts on jigs using both templates and fixtures. Drill close tolerance holes. Performs part-fitting operations such as minor filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working. Measures parts with a variety of methods to verify dimensions. May modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes and perform repairs. Works from blueprint diagrams, drawings, specifications, and shop orders. Monitors and verifies quality and develops corrective action. Performs corrosion inspection and repair per engineering requirements. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager as directed. ## Basic Qualifications
- 5 years or more of demonstrated hands on experience in aviation, manufacturing, and/or assembly
- Experience with reading blueprints and interpreting specifications and/or technical publications
- Experience with basic hand tools (drills,torque wrench and inspections tools). as well as perform, install specialty fasteners, conduct complex rework/repairs, and use precision instruments.
- Experience with locating holes from blueprints by hand lay out, required tooling, and/or technology based platforms
- High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education ## Desired Skills
- 1 year experience leading, training, and/or mentoring other level employees
- Advanced Knowledge of F35 Repair Manual and able to interpret nonconformance repairs within specified instructions
- Prior experience training employees on job related tasks
- Experience with coldwork repairs
- Experience with rivet installations and repairs
- Experience with Titanium and Aluminum close tolerance drilling Pay Information Pay rate for this position is $27.
