Job Description

Assembly Layout Tech 965 University Parkway, Sarasota, FL 34243 $19 an hour - Full-time $19 an hour - Full-time Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Layout Technician to support the assembly and layout of mechanical components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves working with fabricated parts, performing sub-assemblies, and ensuring products meet quality and performance standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving problems, and contributing to the production of high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and install mechanical components using hand and power tools Perform sub-assembly and full assembly of products, including curved systems Layout, fabricate, and level assemblies according to specifications Test and calibrate assemblies to ensure proper function and tolerance levels Identify defects and make adjustments to meet quality standards Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions Track and report part shortages, quality issues, and production concerns Support production flow and help meet daily production goals Follow all safety procedures and standard operating guidelines
Qualifications:
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred Experience using hand and power tools Ability to read technical drawings preferred Basic welding knowledge (MIG/TIG) or willingness to learn is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills for timekeeping and production systems Strong communication and teamwork skills Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay:
$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (overtime on Fridays as needed)
