Full Job Description Disassembly & Inspection:
Safely disassemble vehicle parts (e.g., bumpers, trim, door panels, headlights) and organize hardware to prevent loss during the repair cycle. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Surface Preparation:
Sand, fill, prime, and mask areas of the vehicle or removed components to ensure a flawless canvas for paint application. [1, 2]
Color Matching & Mixing:
Accurately measure and mix paint formulas using spectrophotometers and manufacturer paint codes to guarantee an exact color match. [1, 2]
Paint Application:
Apply base coats and clear coats inside a controlled, downdraft spray booth using professional spray guns. [1, 2]
Reassembly & Finishing:
Reassemble all vehicle components correctly after the paint is baked, cured, and buffed. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Typical Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
3-5 years of professional automotive painting and body-prep Ability to work on high end cars .Must be able to take any car apart with precision and effecincy.
Licensure:
Valid driver's license and an insurable driving
