Fabrication Technician Location:
Savannah, GA Salary:
$28.75 per hour- based on experience
Contract Duration:
1 year +Unique Skills:
- First Shift Required Skills
- Experience with basic hand tools
- Basic math skills are required.
- Basic experience (1-2 years) of one, or a combination of any, of the following
- Aircraft inspection, maintenance, and repair
- Machining
- Plan, layout, setup, and operation machinery
- Welding
- Must be familiar with the guidelines set forth by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the American — Welding Society (AWS), and other pertinent process specifications
- Knowledge of metallurgy, metal working procedures, and welding processes and technology with regard to aircraft applications
- Hydraulic installations/assembly experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
- Valid driver's license required. to operate towing and other Gulfstream transportation equipment
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small, restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds and work any shift
- Must have a good working knowledge of computers and experience working with Microsoft Office suite Machinist II Skills Under close supervision, perform planning, layout, setup, and operation of various conventional machinery.

- 2 years experience in aviation, manufacturing, or electronics
