In this role, you'll help manufacture premium windows and doors trusted by homeowners and contractors nationwide. Position Summary As an Assembler or Machine Operator, you will play a key role in producing high-quality windows and doors while meeting production, quality, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble windows and doors according to work instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality standards. Read and follow production schedules, work orders, and assembly specifications. Select, verify, and prepare the correct materials and components for each product. Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process. Report material shortages, quality concerns, equipment issues, or production delays to supervisors. Safely operate hand and power tools, including: Drills Screw guns Nail and staple guns Chop saws Routers Sanders Accurately measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and other measuring tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals. Follow all safety procedures, policies, and proper lifting techniques. Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more as required. Required Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to read and understand work instructions, production documents, and specifications. Basic math skills, including measurements and simple calculations. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment. Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing 50+ pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable attendance and a strong safety mindset. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or general labor. Experience in construction, carpentry, woodworking, or mechanical assembly. Familiarity with blueprints, diagrams, or technical drawings. Experience working in a fast-paced production environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $22.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
