The Opportunity We're looking for an entry-level Material Handling Assembler to join our Material Handling Assembly & Fabrication team in Nevada, Iowa. In this role, you'll fit, assemble, and — with qualifications — weld material handling equipment from shop drawings or verbal instructions, meeting deadlines and quality standards while working safely. This is a great entry point into fabrication with real room to grow: as you build your skills, there's an opportunity to take on industrial coating and paint application work as well, expanding what you bring to the team and opening doors for future advancement. What You'll Do Comply with safety policies, standards, and company policies Perform timely equipment inspections (crane, rigging, hoists, etc.) Assemble, fabricate, and process sheet metal products from prints or verbal instruction Perform general assembly of material handling equipment — reading prints and assembling per prints or verbal instruction (assembly, drilling, grinding, etc.) Maintain a high level of professionalism in communication, actions, and attitude Effectively meet deadlines and the manufacturing schedule Take part in shop cleanliness and organization Contribute to continuous improvement of material and work-center flow Clock in and out within the company ERP system Perform quality checks throughout the production process Apply practical shop mathematics Load and unload product via overhead cranes Assist with industrial coating and paint applications as time and abilities allow — a future growth opportunity within the role What You Bring Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, geometry) Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools Strong mechanical knowledge Familiarity with blueprint reading Strong communication skills 1+ years of fabrication experience Detail-oriented and organized Benefits 100% company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Profit sharing Boot & clothing allowance Paid parental leave Paid time off Life insurance, HSA available Real advancement opportunity in a fast-growing, employee-focused company Who Thrives Here Ownership — you take personal accountability for world-class results Stewardship — you take care of the people, equipment, and resources entrusted to you Tenacity — you bring urgency, grit, and perseverance to everything you do We've built this company without ever needing a layoff — and we plan to keep it that way.
