Welder / Fabricator - Structural Steel (MIG) We are seeking a reliable and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role involves MIG (wire feed) welding of structural steel components , along with fabrication, fitting, and assembly of steel structures. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, setting up welding equipment, and producing high-quality welds that meet structural standards. Responsibilities Perform MIG (wire feed) welding on structural steel components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols Fit, align, and assemble steel parts prior to welding Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, and drills Ensure welds meet quality and structural standards Maintain a clean and safe work area Inspect finished welds and make necessary adjustments or repairs Qualifications Experience with MIG welding on structural steel Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings Experience with basic fabrication tools and equipment Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Reliable attendance Preferred Qualifications Recent fabrication or structural welding experience Welding certifications are a plus but not required Compensation & Benefits $20 - $27 per hour depending on experience M-F 7am - 3:30pm Opportunity for growth and skill development To learn more about this job or to schedule an interview, call our Coeur d'Alene Office at 208-765-2000.
