Assembler Location:
Spring Grove, IL $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday•Friday | 6:30 AM•3 PM Step Up. Snap In. Ship Out. Looking for Assembler jobs in Spring Grove where teamwork and steady production make a difference? This opportunity lets you assemble products, inspect finished work, and help keep factory operations running safely, accurately, and efficiently. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred Experience using basic hand and pneumatic tools is a plus Strong attention to detail and quality standards Job Duties Assemble electrical wiring harnesses and cable assemblies using hands and light tools Route and secure wires on harness form boards Install cable ties, insulation, tubing, braided sleeves, and electrical tape Use hand tools such as pliers, wire strippers, and screwdrivers to complete assemblies Insert terminated wires into connector housings and verify proper retention Operate braiding equipment and perform cable preparation tasks Test completed wiring harnesses and identify pass/fail indicators Maintain quality standards and complete other assembly duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred. Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial. Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Assembler. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 75 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment. Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
