Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred or work experience in a related occupationWorking Conditions:
Must be able to work overtime, including weekends Must be physically capable of standing/working 8+ hour shift(s) Must be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled areas Must be able to wear required safety equipment Alamo Group Inc. is home to some of the most recognized and successful brands in vegetation management, outdoor power equipment, and agriculture. We are currently seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will work under general supervision to assemble a variety of product lines using hand and power tools, following established assembly procedures. You may also be responsible for guiding and coordinating the work of other team members as needed. The ideal candidate is versatile, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently across multiple product lines and work areas. Essential Functions of theJob:
Follow all company and departmental safety rules including proper use of personal protective equipment Performs all required quality checks to assure products conform to company Maintains 5s standards of housekeeping in work area Meets production requirements Assists in setup for production Communicates what tools are needed to continuously improve inefficiencies in various operations Assembles components and sub-assemblies into completed product Maintains documentation as needed including updating of hour-by-hour boards Assists in training coworkers in proper work procedures and safety Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Must be able to read blueprints and/or work instructions Must be mechanically inclined and have good eye/hand coordination Knowledge of, and ability to use, both hand and power tools essential Ability to operate overhead crane as necessary Knowledge of product operational functions necessarySimilar remote jobs
