Header Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabrication Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise metal fabrication and assembly tasks using a variety of tools, equipment, and technical drawings. Your expertise will ensure that all fabricated components meet strict quality standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes to ensure precise dimensions Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other metal materials for fabrication projects Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members to interpret technical schematics and ensure accurate fabrication according to project deadlines Operate forklifts and other machinery safely for material handling within the shop or on-site locations Assist in the setup and operation of machining tools such as press brakes and plasma cutters for precision fabrication Experience Proven experience in fabrication shop environments or manufacturing settings involving metal fabrication processes Hands-on experience with construction site activities involving structural steel or ductwork is highly desirable Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with mechanical blueprint interpretation capabilities Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for accurate fabrication measurements Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, rigging equipment, pipe threading machines, and press brake machinery proficiently Understanding of safety protocols related to welding operations, material handling equipment like forklifts, and general shop safety standards Mechanical knowledge of metal materials used in sheet metal fabrication and structural components Prior experience interpreting schematics or technical drawings related to mechanical or structural projects is preferred Join us in creating high-quality fabricated components that meet rigorous standards!
