5:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring an Assembler for a company in Jefferson, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift. Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assemble products according to work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
• Build and assemble power washers, portable generators, lawn equipment, and other manufactured products
• Verify materials and components prior to assembly to ensure accuracy and quality
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively
• Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process and on completed products
• Ensure products meet company specifications, tolerances, and quality standards
• Meet daily production goals and maintain productivity requirements
• Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and escalate concerns when necessary
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and team meetings
• Cross-train in multiple assembly areas and assist other departments as business needs require
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company policies, work instructions, safety procedures, and PPE requirements
• Assist with training new employees on standard work procedures as needed

Assembler Requirements:

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, diagrams, and assembly drawings
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
