Job Description
Job Summary The assembly operator will inspect and assemble facias according to work instructions and quality standards on an assembly line. This role includes operating machinery, packaging parts, and maintaining a clean and safe work area throughout the shift. Pay $17.75 per hour Shift 1st shift: 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. Duties Assemble or operate machinery at TAKT times on an assembly line Assemble and inspect parts according to work instructions within quality standards Bag and pack parts Train employees as needed Comply with plant standards Work individually or in a team Maintain a clean area throughout the shift Take out trash and cardboard Perform other duties and tasks as necessary Responsibilities Train employees as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED Ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently Ability to follow written and verbal directions Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds in a team lift Ability to continuously walk, stand, push, pull, twist, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach overhead and below the waist Ability to repeatedly feel, grasp, or squeeze a variety of parts and tools Ability to pass a vision and color test where necessary Availability to work up to 12 hours per shift and weekends on short notice Ability to work in an environment with dust, machinery exhaust, and noise Ability to work in hot summer and cooler winter conditions Ability to use PPE such as safety glasses, vest, hearing protection, and safety shoes Job Type Contract To Hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Grandview, Mo for an in-person interview.
