Exterior Door Assembler Job Summary:
Assembles Exterior doors, prepares Exterior door jamb components. Understands the exterior components and industry, works well with team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Build doors at an increasing rate over time with exceptional quality. Assemble/ builds exterior single door units. Works on a team at a fast pace. Builders will shoot door frames together with pneumatic staple and nail guns, Install door glass into door panels, Apply hinges to door frames and panels, Apply brick mold to door units when complete. Doors will then be dressed for shipping with supplied products and placed onto a designated cart.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of nail guns, basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, knives, etc.) Able to read and write in English. Compute basic measurements with fractions. Carpentry skills are a plus. Must be able to keep their workspace clean and be on time.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently. Stand on concrete floors for up to 10 hour shifts.
