Built on the Bayou, we're growing our Lafayette team and looking for hands-on, mechanically or electrically inclined people ready to build the next generation of drone technology. Position Overview We're seeking an entry-level Drone Assembly Technician with strong mechanical or electrical aptitude and a willingness to learn. You'll help assemble, wire, inspect, and test unmanned aircraft and drone components. Professional drone experience isn't required. Candidates with hobbyist drone experience, an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, or a hands-on technical background are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Assemble drones, UAVs, and related mechanical and electrical components. Install motors, wiring, sensors, cameras, batteries, and other hardware. Follow technical instructions, assembly procedures, and quality standards. Assist with drone testing, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude. Comfortable using hand tools and basic technical equipment. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn. Ability to work on-site in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Preferred Experience:
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. Drone, UAV, UAS, or RC aircraft experience. Automotive, electrical, electronics, robotics, or mechanical assembly experience.
