Our products are proudly manufactured in America at our main office and 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Holden, Massachusetts. Position Summary
INNER-TITE
is seeking a reliable, self-motivated individual for an entry-level position in our Assembly Department. The Assembly and Packaging Associate will manually assemble product components, inspect completed work, count and package products, and prepare finished goods for shipment. This position works under the direction of the Assembly Foreman with the goals of maintaining safety, quality, accuracy and productivity. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train a dependable candidate who has a strong work ethic, a safety-first attitude and an eagerness to learn.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manually assemble components, subassemblies and finished products according to established procedures Read and follow written work instructions, manufacturing orders, product drawings and verbal directions Inspect completed work and maintain acceptable quality standards Meet established production rates while maintaining accuracy and safety Count, organize and package parts or finished products accurately for shipment Complete required production records and reporting Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area Follow proper procedures for handling materials, cutting oils, chemicals and waste Promptly report spills, safety concerns, quality problems or equipment issues Learn additional assembly and manufacturing processes as assigned Work cooperatively with production, quality, engineering and logistics personnel Carry out the reasonable directives of the Assembly Foreman and department leadership Qualifications Applicants should: Be dependable, punctual and able to maintain regular attendance Demonstrate a safety-first attitude Be detail-oriented and able to follow written and verbal instructions Be comfortable working with their hands and performing repetitive assembly and packaging tasks Be able to count and pack parts accurately and consistently Possess basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using whole numbers, fractions and decimals Be able to solve practical problems within an established manufacturing process Be teachable and willing to learn new procedures and skills Be able to work independently and as part of a team Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent Related assembly, packaging or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to: Stand and walk for extended periods, including the majority of an eight-hour shift Reach and work with their hands and arms Perform repetitive hand-assembly and packaging tasks Bend, lift, carry and move materials as required Safely lift and move up to 50 pounds Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
