full-time This is a 4 month contract. This is a 9/80 schedule.
Compensation:
$26 - 30/hr You will play a key role in the assembly, fabrication, repair, and testing of electromechanical assemblies used in prototype systems and test support equipment. This hands-on position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities :
Assemble, fabricate, solder, and repair electrical and electromechanical assemblies for prototype systems and test support equipment. Build, route, terminate, and inspect custom cable and wire harnesses in accordance with engineering drawings and industry standards. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform rework on cable harnesses and electrical assemblies to ensure quality and functionality. Review vendor-supplied cable and harness drawings to verify manufacturability, proper design, and tooling requirements. Support testing and integration activities by assembling and maintaining prototype hardware and support equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to quality and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification, associate degree, or vocational training in electronics, manufacturing, or a related field preferred. 1+ years of experience assembling cable harnesses, electrical assemblies, or electromechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, work instructions, and bills of materials. Proficiency using hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers, soldering equipment, and other assembly tools. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform rework on electrical assemblies and cable harnesses.
