Vent Assembly Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Vent Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and building vents, a smaller part of the HVAC unit used in hospitals and schools. You will work closely with a small team of 2-3 people, utilizing a bill of materials to ensure accurate assembly. Your role will involve fastening parts using hand tools, soldering, and power tools, as well as building boxes and packaging completed vents for shipment. A simple pen and paper tracking system will be used to manage inventory and track progress. Responsibilities Assemble and build vents for HVAC units in hospitals and schools. Collaborate with a small team using a bill of materials to ensure precise assembly. Utilize hand tools, soldering, and power tools to fasten parts. Build boxes and package completed vents for shipment. Maintain inventory records using a pen and paper tracking system. Essential Skills Strong mechanical aptitude. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and follow instructions based on bills of materials (BOMs). Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in assembly, construction, or custom build environments is a plus. Ownership of personal power tools and hand tools is advantageous. Why Work Here?
