Job Description
Responsible for the architectural integrity and financial oversight of the global Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio. Serve as the System Administrator for the Salesforce-based IP management system, engineering custom objects and automated triggers to ensure data compliance across multiple jurisdictions and provide efficiency to internal processes. Manage the Global Intellectual Property Budget, which requires the use of automated data integration tools to track expenditures in patent maintenance, acquisition and prosecution fees. Lead the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science methodologies into legal workflows, including developing and maintaining Natural Language Processing (NLP) scripts to automate the classification of inventions and performing Advanced Analytics via Business Intelligence tools to report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership. Coordinate with an international legal team to ensure the strategic alignment of the patent lifecycle with the company's strategy and goals. May provide direction/guidance to Legal Assistant(s) supporting operations tasks.
