In this role, you will assemble, inspect, and test industrial valves according to engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate enjoys working with hand and power tools, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable reading assembly instructions and mechanical drawings. Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with strong mechanical aptitude
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble industrial valves and related components according to work instructions, blueprints, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Perform functional testing and inspections to ensure finished products meet customer and company standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment as needed (training provided if required).
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, parts lists, and production orders.
- Verify parts and materials before assembly and report discrepancies or quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records as required.
- Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or unusual conditions to the supervisor or lead person.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Lead Person.
Required Skills / Experience /
Competencies:
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with tools, machinery, and mechanical components.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and assembly procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic assembly issues and recognize mechanical problems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attendance, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
- Forklift experience or certification is preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, mechanical assembly, maintenance, automotive, agricultural equipment, machine shop, or industrial experience is a plus but not required.
Preferred Qualifications Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings. Experience using calipers, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools. Experience with industrial valves, pumps, piping systems, or other mechanical equipment. Forklift and/or overhead crane experience.

Schedule:
8-hour shift 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. with occasional weekends and overtime.
