Job Description
Order Assembler I
•2nd Shift Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and proud of doing quality work? Join the Mate Precision Technologies team as an Order Assembler I on 2nd Shift. You'll play an important role in making sure customers receive the right products, accurately packaged, documented, and shipped on time. What You'll Do Receive, count, sort, inspect, identify, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Operate laser etching equipment to apply identifying codes to tools and parts. Use computers, scanners, shipping software, and internal systems to process orders and create labels, packing slips, and shipping documentation. Prepare domestic and international shipments using carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Verify quantities, specifications, packaging, and documentation for accuracy. Maintain equipment and a clean, organized, and safe work area. Move materials and information throughout the department and facility. Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing priorities. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Basic computer skills. Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction with whole numbers and decimals. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Effective English communication skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to multitask and prioritize. Why do people stay at Mate? We offer:
Competitive pay based upon skill and experience $24.00-28.00 per hour base pay, plus $1.00/hour 2nd Shift differential 2nd Shift schedule: Mon-Thu, 3:00 p.m.
•11:30 p.m. and Fri 11:30 a.m.
•8:00 p.m.
