Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Machine Assembly Technician to join our growing team. As a key player in our assembly process, you will work hands-on to assemble CNC routers, plasma tables, and fiber laser machines, ensuring the accuracy and quality of each product. Key Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical components on CNC routers, plasma tables, and fiber laser machines using hand tools and precision measuring instruments, following detailed schematics and blueprints. Adhere to assembly instructions to efficiently and accurately complete machine builds. Perform thorough quality checks during assembly to ensure the highest manufacturing standards. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed to move parts and materials. Collaborate with fellow team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, continuously improving processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company standards. Adapt to building custom features as needed, based on client specifications and orders.

Requirements and Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Proficiency with hand tools (drills, taps, wrenches, etc.) and basic measuring instruments. Ability to follow assembly instructions and retain complex information. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Reliability in attendance and punctuality, with a commitment to meeting deadlines. Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, kneeling, bending, and walking for extended periods. Willingness to learn and adapt to the changing needs of the assembly process, including custom features or client-specific modifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in machine assembly or a related field is a plus. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one. Why ShopSabre?

First Shift Hours :

Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm and a half day Friday, 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
