Assembler Job Description The primary role of an assembler is to work collaboratively as part of a team with the responsibility of assembling an entire product or component of a product. Responsibilities Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process. Determine work assignments and procedures. Maintain and sweep work areas. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts. Provide assistance in the production of wiring assemblies. Essential Skills Verbal and written communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving ability. Team player and detail-oriented. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs. Understanding of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies for promoting effective security operations. Work Environment The work environment involves working on an assembly line and handling general labor tasks. The shift is from 5 AM to 3:30 PM. Employees are expected to operate heavy equipment and maintain a clean workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York Mills, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
