Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Assembler 2's for a contract opportunity in Plymouth, MN.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
): o High School Diploma or GED. o Active
IPC J-STD-001
Certification. o 1-3+ years of experience in hand soldering or assembling electronic components within a manufacturing setting. o Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and communicate effectively within a team environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
o Seeking a skilled Assembler 2 to perform a variety of production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies. o In this role, you will work from diagrams and technical drawings to build modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables using precision hand/power tools, jigs, and saws.
Key Responsibilities:
o Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on complex electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies. o Work directly from engineering diagrams, technical drawings, and initial layouts. o Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed work, perform quality inspections. o Disassemble, modify, re-work, re-assemble, and test assemblies under simulated conditions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(DESIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
): o 5+ years in a manufacturing environment. o 5+ years of experience in hand soldering, including inspection, complex re-work/repair, and utilizing various specialized soldering tools and equipment. o Advanced ability to understand, interpret, and attention to detail to technical documents on electro-mechanical work. o Proficiency with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software and Microsoft 365 applications. o Willingness to be trained to work on explosive assemblies.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma/GED is required. School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. This position will serve on-site at Plymouth, MN.
