Mechanical Assembler About the Role We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble, test, and inspect precision rotary unions used in a wide range of industrial applications. Key Responsibilities Assemble rotary unions and related products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures Perform functional testing, pressure testing, and final inspections to verify product performance and quality Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work orders Use hand tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment safely and accurately Identify and report quality issues, damaged components, or assembly discrepancies Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Assist with troubleshooting assembly and test issues while working closely with engineering and production teams Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision mechanical components Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation Preferred Experience assembling hydraulic, pneumatic, or rotating mechanical equipment Familiarity with pressure testing, leak testing, and precision measuring instruments Experience working within an ISO 9001 or similar quality management system Forklift or overhead crane experience (or willingness to obtain certification) Skills & Competencies Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and organizational skills Ability to prioritize work and meet production schedules Dependable work ethic and positive attitude Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods What We Offer Competitive salary Career Development and Cross-Training Opportunities Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) Simple IRA and Roth IRA options with company contributions Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Leave, Holidays) Paid Term Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance Modern, Climate-Controlled Facility
