Role Overview This position is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity located in Rogers, MN, offering a compensation range of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. The facility provides a collaborative, hands-on atmosphere where staff members can gain diverse manufacturing expertise, rotate through various production zones, and play a key role in daily output. Position Summary We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our production team as an Assembler and Shop Helper. This role requires a hands-on approach to building steel components, utilizing various shop tools, and assisting with general operations across the facility. We seek candidates who are reliable, mechanically minded, and eager to grow their skills in a fast-moving, team-centered setting. Core Duties Construct steel parts by utilizing various hand tools and shop machinery. Adhere to specified assembly guidelines and standard operating procedures. Verify that all finished components meet quality and precision standards. Transport and manage steel materials throughout the facility to ensure workflow efficiency. Provide support to various departments to help maintain consistent production output. Operate all designated tools and equipment in a secure manner to prevent workplace accidents. Adjust to shifting production requirements and changing task priorities. Keep the workspace tidy and orderly to foster a safe environment for the entire team. Comply with all safety regulations and shop-wide operational policies. Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and leadership. Perform miscellaneous production and shop-related duties as requested. Requirements Completion of high school or a GED equivalent. Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting is a plus. Comfortable operating hand tools and working in proximity to industrial machinery. Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. Dependable with a track record of consistent attendance. An optimistic mindset and a desire to acquire new skills. Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively within a group. Flexible enough to rotate between tasks and departments to meet production demands. Available to work extra hours when production schedules require it. Physically capable of remaining on your feet for the duration of the shift. Able to safely lift and maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds. Capable of performing repetitive physical tasks including bending, reaching, and carrying. Environment A high-energy manufacturing and shop setting. Frequent interaction with steel materials, hand tools, and industrial equipment. A physically demanding role that requires constant standing and material handling. Mandatory use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Production demands may necessitate working overtime hours.
