Job Description
The Senior Assembler J will perform assembly operations in accordance with established product, safety and quality standards. This team-oriented role will involve interpretations of electrical and mechanical drawings. Work with engineers and technicians to identify process improvement to improve safety, productivity, and quality.
Are You Looking To:
- Must be J standard certified (Solder).
- Construct electro-mechanical assemblies for multiple product types.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to assemble products.
- Ability to move to any assembly job function within the facility.
- Perform inspection of parts for defects. Record and interpret data for process control charts. Recognize and suggest improvements to the process.
- Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly correct and/or notify Manager of hazardous situations.
- Participate in and take proactive roles in ISO, AS9100, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification, and solution verification.
- Train assemblers to provide high quality, on-time products to meet customer requirements.
- Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.
- Reports to Production Supervisor. Has contact with internal and external customers and co-workers.
- Operates a variety of equipment to assemble products. Produces products to conform to engineering drawings assembly documentation and quality required. Performs minor set-ups/adjustments.
- Assume other projects and responsibilities as directed.
- Employee may be responsible for the generation, labeling, storage, and other general management of hazardous waste.

What You'll Need:
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical or manufacturing assembly or specialized training preferred.
- High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
