Job Description

Summary Job Description This position is responsible for assembling wood frame parts for high end, high quality furniture. Essential Duties Responsible for reading ticket and assembling wood parts for frame based on ticket specs Responsible for maintaining quality standards and production levels in assigned work areas Will be required to use a variety of tools including but not limited to: staple guns, ziz wheels, grinders, drills, tape measure, and screwdrivers Reviews assembled product to ensure there are no defects and takes to the next work station Must follow all safety policies and procedures All other duties as assigned Position Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Previous assembling experience a plus Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Prolonged periods of walking and standing and performing repetitive tasks While standing, position will require bending, squatting, kneeling and twisting Must be able to work in noisy environments Must have manual dexterity in order to operate tools as directed Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; rarely lifting/carrying objects up to 75 lbs.
