Our 30+ years of experience manufacturing automotive harnesses provides our customers and dealers alike, the reassurance that their job is done right.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Entry-Level Assembler position is designed to provide training and development opportunities for individuals. This role involves learning and assisting with the application of terminals and the loading of connectors to support the production process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Operating termination machines and hand-crimpers for wire termination. Performing various termination techniques including doubles, triples, daisy chains, and busbar terminations. Identifying when components need to be installed before termination. Understanding and correctly performing connector indexing to ensure secure wire installation. Familiar with departmental processes, wire rack locations, and part storage. Knowing the location and proper use of hand tools. Identifying errors in received wires and parts. Understanding the relationships between connectors and terminals. Distinguishing between basic terminal families and genders. Differentiating wire gauge sizes. Performing various soldering procedures and assessing the quality of solder joints. Splicing wires and evaluating the quality of splices. Understanding harness applications, including year, model, and harness type. Recognizing machine malfunctions & reporting it to Management to prevent damage. Safely loading terminal reels into machines. Performing all tasks safely by using appropriate tools, protective gear, and equipment. Other duties as required.

Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to stand on your feet for 8 hours Able to raise arms above head Able to perform repetitive movements with arms and legs Able to read + understand BOM & Prints Able to read a ruler Able to differentiate colors

Pay:

$15.93 - $17.00 per hour
