Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Paid Vacation and Holidays 401K plan with employer match Responsibilities & Main Activities (includes, but is not limited to): Adheres to all safety guidelines during the packaging and manufacturing operation(s) Follow the written procedures at all times and communicate with the shift supervisor(s) about any issues Works at different station(s) on a production or packaging line and be able to keep up with the line speed Assembles product by hand and/or inspect the final product to be packaged for lot/exp details as required by the work order If trained as a machine operator, addresses the problems with the production equipment and machinery and fixes them as needed Assist in cleaning processes and/or support the mechanics during a change-over process Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to the quality standards and address the issue with QC as and when needed Checks for inconsistency and/or faulty products and removes them from the line that doesn't meet quality standard Maintains a clean working area and general housekeeping Reports issues or problems with production/packaging to the immediate supervisor
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or GED recommended but not required Experience in a manufacturing facility a plus Ability to follow instructions given by the line lead, supervisor(s), QC and/or onsite managers Pays close attention to detail, works efficiently and manages time effectively Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk and/or lift material for loading/unloading in the hopper of the machine Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking, lifting and/or moving components up to 25 lbs. required Ability to wear safety gear such as eye glasses and other
