AB_5060762 We are seeking a detail-oriented Kitter / Production Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team. In this dual-function role, you will prepare component kits and assemble high-reliability mechanical and electronic products according to work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitting & Inventory Prep:
Pull, verify, and stage parts using Bills of Materials (BOM) to create complete assembly kits for the shop floor.
Product Assembly:
Build, fit, and align precision components using hand tools, torque drivers, and basic power tools.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect incoming parts for physical defects, flag material shortages, and conduct basic visual or functional checks on finished assemblies.
salary:
$48,000 - $52,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM education:
High School Responsibilities Assembly & Production:
Build, fit, and align components using hand tools (screwdrivers, torque wrenches), power tools, or soldering irons according to schematics or standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Part Inspection & Setup:
Verify all required parts and kits are present prior to beginning assembly; inspect incoming components for defects.
Quality Assurance:
Test assembled units for proper alignment, functionality, and dimensional specs; perform basic troubleshooting or flag defective units.
Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain tools, machinery, and workstations in a clean, safe, and operational state following 5S standards.
Documentation:
Log completion metrics, record batch numbers, and report material shortages or scrap rates to supervisors.
