We are seeking a Glass Fabricator to cut, shape, finish, and assemble architectural glass and glazing components in our fabrication shop. This role supports commercial interior and exterior projects — storefronts, partitions, railings, and custom glazing assemblies. RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform Fabrication of all Materials as assigned in alliance with Lafayette's Quality Standards Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and job tickets to determine dimensions, tolerances, glass type, and edge treatment Ensure Quality Control of all Materials Fabricated, including but not limited to doors, mirrors, plate and architectural glass Inspect finished product for scratches, chips, distortion, and dimensional accuracy before release; document and report defects Handle, move, and stage glass safely for delivery to the Field Work in collaboration with all Shop staff and communicate any concerns relative to fabrication to Production Foreman Maintain and perform basic upkeep on all assigned equipment to ensure its integrity Always maintain a safe working environment while performing assigned duties Assist with other tasks as assigned, including deliveries and pickups of materials

REQUIREMENTS

3+ Years Prior experience of hands-on glass fabrication, glazing, or comparable shop fabrication experience OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred Valid Drivers License Ability to work in a team environment Bilingual English/Spanish with excellent communication skills Forklift experience and certification strongly recommended Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently Working knowledge of safe glass handling practices and material weight limits. Reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime when project schedules require it.

Pay:

From $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
