Pay:
$20.86 2nd Shift (Mon-Thurs 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Fridays TBD) Assembler II Responsibilities and jobs of Assembler I Able to work for long periods of time with minimal supervision. Uses specification drawing for setting up and acquiring material. Can identify errors on either the spec or the work order and uses the yellow tag process to correct. Positions materials on table, floor or jig, according to instructions contained in the Work Order and product specification commonly referred to as the "SPEC". Records production. Routinely uses calibrated tape measure to perform job assignment. Inspection of completed work per quality standards, log inspection to work order. Final inspection and tagging of product. Understanding and following instructions and completing required paperwork. Cleaning around work areas. Clean as you go, clean at the end of the shift. Ability to recognize nonconforming material such as damaged or defective items, rot, splits, mold, knots that are too large, etc… Discards scrap or defective pieces of waste into scrap containers or into trash Hoppers. Assembler II (Beechgrove Plant Specifics) Ability to perform all of the following jobs: Hand assembling of "multi-person" complex cartons with the use of multiple components and fastening applicators such as hot glue and PSA or cold glue "Multi-person" cartons by definition are cartons of such complexity that they require multiple persons to work simultaneously (as a unit) in tandem or synchronization in order to assemble successfully.This typically includes:
The box forming process on the Giant Line (Giants and Tanks) and Medium Line. Use Kilberg Pneumatic Hand Held Cap Stitchers and Pole Stichers. Effective rotation within all jobs of same or lower level. Safe and proper set up and operation of : Small Band Saw Small Corner Cutter Whirlwind Chop Saw Radial Arm Saw Poly Tray Cutter Assigned position at the end of the Giant Line 1 & 2 and the Medium Line to perform "Final Inspection" on those specific lines. This assigned position does not require rotation due to the limited ergonomic hazards of the inspection process. This assigned position must be competent in the completion of section 4.5 of Work Instruction WI75-02-3, section 4.2 of Work Instruction WI75-02-41B, section 4.3 of Work Instruction WI75-02-41A and section 4.5 of Work Instruction WI75-02-4.Similar remote jobs
