Job Description
Inside the Role This position is responsible for completion of the robotic weld process adding material to various engine blocks, heads, and components to be machined back to quality standards by way of the remanufacturing process. Primary responsibilities include operation of Fanuc Robot flame spray cell, Fanuc Robot blaster cell, shaker, and complete quality checks. Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures Operation of robotic welding process Operate hoist, air tools, hand tools, grinders, and slaggers. Operate robotic cells Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers Adhere to established work rotation plan Complete training matrix for each rotation position Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions Other tasks and/or duties as requested Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput Install and assemble components for heavy-duty trucks Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy Operate the following tools and equipment: jigs and fixtures, hoist, air tools, hand tools, grinders Knowledge You Should Bring Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 45 pounds . Must maintain a clean work area. Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures Cross train on other jobs as required Exceptional Candidates Might Have Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment Previous mechanical experience High School Diploma / GED is preferred and further college education a plus Where We Work This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Byesville, OH US.
