Assembler (1st Shift) ($18-20/hr.) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembler for the 1st Shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This is a contract-to-hire position where you will assemble graphite rupture discs and related components according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions. The role involves performing repetitive, detail-focused assembly work in a controlled manufacturing environment. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply today! Responsibilities Assemble graphite rupture discs and related components according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions. Perform repetitive, detail-focused assembly work in a controlled manufacturing environment. Handle graphite materials carefully to ensure product integrity and quality. Inspect parts for defects and ensure finished products meet quality standards. Use hand tools, measuring devices, and basic assembly equipment. Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and clean work practices. Accurately complete production documentation and work orders. Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality standards. Use a drill press. Perform basic math. Lift up to 50 lbs. Essential Skills Previous manufacturing experience with small part assembly. Experience using hand tools. Ability to perform repetitive work. Ability to follow work instructions. Capacity to lift 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Neat handwriting for documentation purposes. General production experience. Work Environment The work environment involves handling graphite materials in areas that may be a little dirty due to the heat treatment process necessary for manufacturing the discs. The facility can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but break rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The company is a leader in the production of graphite rupture disks, with over 90 years of expertise in the field. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chagrin Falls, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
