• Job Description
• We are seeking a dedicated General Shop Laborer to join our team in Blue Ash, OH. The role involves hands-on work with wood, utilizing hand tools and operating machines to build and route counters, shelves, and other woodwork for hotels and apartments. This position offers a single-step interview process and is scheduled for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
• Responsibilities
• + Use hand tools to perform various tasks. + Build and route counters, shelves, and other woodwork for hotels and apartments. + Construct crates for various uses. + Operate machines efficiently and safely.
• Essential Skills
• + Ability to read a tape measure accurately. + Experience with sanders or routers. + Experience using hand tools, suitable for carpenters, installers, and new account installers. + High mechanical aptitude and capability to work in a team environment.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience with wood finishing, such as spraying stain, paint, and topcoats. + Knowledge of fabricating and seaming solid surface countertops. + Startup knowledge of general woodworking tools, small hand tools, and methods. + Willingness to be trained in various roles and skills.
