Job Overview We are seeking meticulous and dedicated Micro-assembly Technicians to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting small-scale electro-mechanical components with precision and adherence to strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electronics assembly, schematic reading, and the use of hand tools and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes while developing technical expertise in micro-assembly operations critical to high-quality product delivery. Duties Assemble small electronic components and electro-mechanical parts according to detailed blueprints and schematics, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards. Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology techniques to accurately build and wire electrical panels and assemblies. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to guide assembly processes. Perform surface mount technology (SMT) component placement and soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) with precision. Conduct electrical testing using multimeters such as ohmmeters to verify circuit continuity and component functionality. Troubleshoot assembly issues through engineering troubleshooting methods, identifying root causes of defects or malfunctions. Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to safety protocols; document assembly processes and inspection results diligently. Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvements and quality assurance initiatives related to electro-mechanical components. Qualifications Proven experience in electronics assembly, PCB soldering, or mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematic diagrams. Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT), electrical wiring, and electrical panel building. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and testing instruments such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow blueprint specifications precisely. Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity; capable of working with small components under magnification if necessary. Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), engineering troubleshooting techniques, and electro-mechanical components is advantageous. This position ensures that all work performed meets rigorous quality standards while supporting the development of advanced micro-electronic products. We welcome candidates committed to precision craftsmanship and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing setting. #
