Job Description

General Description The role of an Assembly worker is to safely produce a quality product according to the guidelines of the customer's work order. The assembler will work in a team environment with other assemblers performing a variety of skilled and/or unskilled tasks. Responsibilities Understand and follow construction methods (blue print/shop drawing reading to ensure accuracy of components and finished goods) The worker can perform basic assembly utilizing glue & dowels in the allotted time-frame Build sub assemblies (bases and drawers) Final assembly, including attaching and adjusting doors and drawer fronts Package and clean products in the allotted time-frame Understand the production paperwork including assembly bills, travelers and cut-lists Quality inspection of product as required by supervisor Maintain a high level of production Perform final clean-up of finished product and some packaging. Qualifications/Requirements Knowledge of basic hand tools (air driven nail gun, hand routers, screw drivers, table/miter saw Good attendance is a high priority 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States Valid Driver's License and your own vehicle Must be able to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math Effective communication Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently, as well as bend, stoop, kneel, carry, walk/stand for duration of shift 8+ hours per day, with no restriction or issue Can-do attitude/mentality, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
